    5. CH4\mathrm{CH}_4CH4​ Carbon has 4 bonds  8 electrons.

    6. SiF4\mathrm{SiF}_4SiF4​ Silicon forms 4 bonds  8 electrons around Si.

    7. ClO2\mathrm{ClO}_2ClO2​ Total valence electrons: 7+2×6=197 + 2\times 6 = 197+2×6=19 Odd-electron molecule.

    8. PCl5\mathrm{PCl}_5PCl5​ Phosphorus has 5 bonds  10 electrons around P.

    9. BeF2\mathrm{BeF}_2BeF2​ Beryllium forms 2 bonds and has only 4 electrons around it.
