and y2 = a cos (ω\omega ωt + kx)

=asin⁡[π2+(ωt+kx)] = a\sin \left[ {{\pi \over 2} + \left( {\omega t + kx} \right)} \right]=asin[2π​+(ωt+kx)]

Phase difference, Δϕ=ϕ2−ϕ1\Delta \phi = {\phi _2} - {\phi _1}Δϕ=ϕ2​−ϕ1​

=π2−0.57 = {\pi \over 2} - 0.57=2π​−0.57

=3.142−0.57 = {{3.14} \over 2} - 0.57=23.14​−0.57

= 1.57 – 0.57 = 1 radian
