  1. A tetrapeptide is a peptide made of 4 amino acids.

  2. In a linear peptide, the number of peptide bonds is always one less than the number of amino acids.

    So, for 4 amino acids: Number of peptide bonds=4−1=3\text{Number of peptide bonds} = 4 - 1 = 3Number of peptide bonds=4−1=3

  3. Therefore, (number of amino acids)−(number of peptide bonds)=4−3=1\text{(number of amino acids)} - \text{(number of peptide bonds)} = 4 - 3 = 1(number of amino acids)−(number of peptide bonds)=4−3=1

  4. Hence, the required integer is: 1\boxed{1}1​
