heat lost = heat gained
Ch (100°C – Tc) = Cc × Tc
Now Tc = Ch/(Ch + Cc) × 100°C
= 100/[1 + (Cc/Ch)], where Cc/Ch < 1
It is seen that 1 + Cc/Ch < 2
Hence, Tc > (100/2)°C or Tc > 50°C
