  1. We need the unit of EH\dfrac{E}{H}HE​, where:

    • EEE = electric field intensity
    • HHH = magnetising field
  2. Write their SI units:

    • Electric field intensity: E=forcecharge=NC=VmE = \frac{\text{force}}{\text{charge}} = \frac{N}{C} = \frac{V}{m}E=chargeforce​=CN​=mV​ So, unit of EEE is V/mV/mV/m.

    • Magnetising field intensity HHH has SI unit: A/mA/mA/m

  3. Therefore, EH=V/mA/m=VA\frac{E}{H} = \frac{V/m}{A/m} = \frac{V}{A}HE​=A/mV/m​=AV​

  4. But VA=Ω\frac{V}{A} = \OmegaAV​=Ω which is the unit of resistance, i.e. ohm.

  5. Checking options:

    • A: ohm ✓\checkmark✓
    • B: mho =Ω−1= \Omega^{-1}=Ω−1 ×\times×
