Given: Kf=4KiK_f = 4K_iKf​=4Ki​

Using K∝p2K \propto p^2K∝p2 for constant mass, we get: KfKi=pf2pi2\frac{K_f}{K_i} = \frac{p_f^2}{p_i^2}Ki​Kf​​=pi2​pf2​​

So, 4=pf2pi24 = \frac{p_f^2}{p_i^2}4=pi2​pf2​​ ⇒pfpi=2\Rightarrow \frac{p_f}{p_i} = 2⇒pi​pf​​=2
