Taking common logarithm,

log⁡k=log⁡A−Ea2.303R⋅1T\log k = \log A - \frac{E_a}{2.303R}\cdot \frac{1}{T}logk=logA−2.303REa​​⋅T1​

  1. This is the equation of a straight line in a plot of log⁡k\log klogk vs 1T\dfrac{1}{T}T1​.

So, slope is

m=−Ea2.303Rm = -\frac{E_a}{2.303R}m=−2.303REa​​
