For Ni+2 = [Ar] 3d84s0 (2 Unpaired electrons)

Ti+3 = [Ar] 3d84s0 (1 unpaired electron)

Cu+ = [Ar] 3d10 (0 unpaired electron)

Hence, Ni+2 and Ti3+ are coloured in aqueous solution due to the presence of unpaired electrons in d-subshell.
