    Their masses are:

  2. Kinetic energy in terms of momentum:

    where MMM is the mass of the particle.

  3. Since all particles have the same momentum ppp, kinetic energy is:

    K∝1MK \propto \frac{1}{M}K∝M1​

    So, smaller the mass, larger the kinetic energy.
