    Statement I: Pressure in a reservoir of water is same at all points at the same level of water.

    For a liquid at rest, pressure depends only on depth: P=P0+ρghP = P_0 + \rho g hP=P0​+ρgh where:

    • ρ\rhoρ = density of liquid,
    • ggg = acceleration due to gravity,
    • hhh = depth below the surface.

    This is exactly Pascal’s law:
