  1. A
    O-O bond lengths are equal.
  2. B
Thermal decomposition of O3O_3O3 is endothermic.

Correct answer: A, C, D

  1. Consider the structure of ozone, O3O_3O3

    Ozone has resonance structures: \ceO=O−O<−>O−O=O\ce{O=O-O <-> O-O=O}\ceO=O−O<−>O−O=O

Because of resonance, the two \ceO−O\ce{O-O}\ceO−O bonds become equivalent.

Hence, both bond lengths are equal.

    So, A is correct.

  2. Check thermal decomposition of O3O_3O3

    Thermal decomposition: 2\ceO3(g)→3\ceO2(g)2\ce{O3(g)} \rightarrow 3\ce{O2(g)}2\ceO3(g)→3\ceO2(g)

Ozone is thermodynamically less stable than oxygen and decomposes to form \ceO2\ce{O2}\ceO2 with release of heat.

Thus, decomposition is exothermic, not endothermic.

    So, B is incorrect.

  3. Magnetic nature of O3O_3O3

Ozone has all electrons paired in its molecular orbitals, so it is diamagnetic.

    Therefore, C is correct.

  4. Shape of O3O_3O3

In O3O_3O3, the central oxygen has:

    • two bond pairs
    • one lone pair

Thus, electron-pair geometry is trigonal planar, but molecular shape is bent (angular).

    Therefore, D is correct.

  5. Final selection

    Correct statements are: A, C, D\boxed{A,\ C,\ D}A, C, D

  6. Comparison with stored correct answer

    Stored correct answer: A,C,DA, C, DA,C,D

This matches the derived answer exactly.
